Oosterhout Container Terminal (OCT), owned by RLG, is a critical inland hub in West Brabant, offering a fully secured, 24/7 Class V facility with unrestricted access for exceptional reliability in container handling. OCT serves as a key point within the West Brabant Corridor (WBC), a dedicated barging route connecting Rotterdam’s deep-sea terminals to inland destinations like Oosterhout. With 24 fixed weekly windows and 12 flexible calls, OCT and the WBC together form an integrated logistics solution, delivering seamless and efficient container transport with unmatched reliability in the Netherlands.

Customs
The EU customs and VAT landscape is complex, but Rietveld simplifies it by acting as a direct representative, managing tasks on behalf of clients.
When goods enter or leave the EU, customs obligations arise, requiring permits to ensure compliance. Many goods arrive with T1 status, indicating pending customs duties and VAT, and must remain under customs supervision until assigned a procedure. For example, goods at the Port of Rotterdam stay under control until documentation is finalized.
